Joanna Gunn is the Chief Brand Officer for Lane Crawford, and oversees the company’s award-winning Buying & Merchandising, Visual Product Presentation, Editorial, Creative and Design departments.
As a member of the senior management team, Gunn has also contributed to the development and implementation of Lane Crawford’s expansion throughout Greater China, including the Lane Crawford stores in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu. Since 2001, Gunn has been the brains of many pioneering new creative collaborations such as Created in China programme to nurture emerging Chinese designers, “The Next New” creative call out programme to unearth budding design talents, long-term partnerships and talk of the town events that have succeeded in innovating new experiences for the customer and engaging communications.
With 20 years of experience in the multi-brand retail industry, Gunn has worked previously with luxury brands such as Gucci and Joyce Boutique. She is passionate about scouting and nurturing emerging design talents, and has actively participated in numerous award judging and conference such as Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award.
