Daisuke Tanaka

tanakadaisuke is a Tokyo-based brand founded by Japanese designer Daisuke Tanaka in 2021. After graduating from Osaka Bunka Fashion College, Tanaka launched his eponymous brand and debuted his first collection at Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO 2022 A/W. Since then, he has been active as a costume designer and embroidery artist. The brand is known for its androgynous, maximalist embroidery and dramatic silhouettes, offering a subversive twist on everyday fashion. Tanaka was also a finalist for the 89th Soen Award in 2015.
