Yat Pit (which means one stroke in Chinese) was founded by Jason Mui and On-Ying Lai in 2015. The irreverent and visionary label is looking to revive Chinese culture and fashion while reinterpreting it through the designers’ unique cross-cultural perspective. The philosophy behind Yat Pit is to examine and embrace both the beauty and ugliness of the environment we live in. Hoping to inspire new perspectives not only in clothing but also in how we view ourselves and the world, the label uses various mediums such as art, music, dance, and photography to express its boundless creativity.
