Tokyo-based designer Chika Kisada spent much of her childhood studying classical ballet, but eventually turned her eye to fashion. Her namesake womenswear label, which was launched in 2014, is inspired by her love of dance which she interprets with a punk-rock irreverence. Her collections feature ultra-feminine pieces such as tutu-inspired dresses and delicate blouses which are combined with leather motorcycle jackets and classic cotton T-shirts.
