Masanori Morikawa

Christian Dada was founded in Tokyo in 2010 by designer Masanori Morikawa. The label’s name pays tribute to Parisian Haute Couture and Dadaism, and explores the idea of beauty in imperfection. Morikawa, who trained under designer Charles Anastase in London, often takes inspiration from eastern subcultures and traditional Japanese crafts for his designs. The brand shows regularly at Paris Fashion Week and is available at prestigious retailers including Colette in Paris, H. Lorenzo in Los Angeles, I.T in Hong Kong, and online at SSENSE.
