Malaysian-born Jimmy Choo studied footwear at London College of Fashion’s Cordwainers College in the 1980s. He went on to establish his footwear couture label in 1986, designing shoes for royalty including Late Diana, Princess of Wales, and celebrities. In 1996 he launched a ready-to-wear line, which would later become one of the world’s most successful luxury footwear and accessories brands. Today Jimmy works as a passionate ambassador for Footwear Education at the London College of Fashion and a spokesperson for the British Council in their promotion of British Education to foreign students.
