Founded in Milan in 2020, SETCHU is the vision of Japanese designer Satoshi Kuwata. From Kyoto to Milan, Satoshi has lived fashion across continents and cultures. His philosophy is about dressing with substantial refinement in any context, and perfectly defines SETCHU’s timeless aesthetic. He honed his craft at prestigious houses, including H. Huntsman & Sons on Savile Row, and led design studios for Givenchy, Edun, Kanye West, and Gareth Pugh. In 2023, he was the recipient of the LVMH Prize, followed by a celebrated bespoke collaboration with Davies & Son, presented at the Venice Art Biennale in 2024. Most recently, he appeared as a guest designer at Pitti Uomo for Autumn/Winter 2025 and presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection at Milan Fashion Week.
