Eugene Tong

Taiwanese-born former fashion editor Eugene Tong was most recently the style director of men’s magazine Details until its closure in November 2015. A native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Tong attended Boston University and moved to New York where he worked at FHM and Cargo magazine before joining Details. Named the most stylish man in fashion by men’s lifestyle magazine Complex in 2013 and a member of Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed list in 2014, street style photographers regularly feature him on their blogs. Tong lives and works in New York City as an independent style/fashion consultant and stylist. His current clients include Public School, John Elliott, Second/Layer, W Magazine, Nike, Kith, and The Kooples.
