JILLIAN XIN

Buying Director

Jillian Xin was born in Yunnan, China and raised in Hampshire, England. She graduated with a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Xin started her career in management consulting in London. During a secondment to Shanghai in 2011, she saw a gap in the Chinese market for independent fashion labels and founded XINLELU, a multi-brand website and boutique. It was voted as one of the top 10 stores in Shanghai by Time Out Magazine and she was subsequently shortlisted by Forbes in their 30 under 30s list.

In 2014, she sold the business and moved to Hong Kong, where she worked for Lane Crawford launching their Next New department, an initiative to support young talent. Xin is currently the Buying Director at LABELHOOD, a platform championing Chinese designers.
